Dr. Clark saved my life. I will be forever grateful to him. After my face was destroyed by a microcurrent device which melted a severe amount of facial fat, I was despondent, traumatized, and honestly suicidal. Anyone who has endured severe, sudden fat loss or disfigurement from a device knows the horror of what I'm talking about. I did tons of research and had consultations with plastic surgeons who were experts in fat grafting, but none of them gave me a good feeling. I truly believe a miraculous force led me to Dr. Clark and the wonderful staff at Changes Plastic Surgery. From the moment I called, I got connected with sweet Nicole and my terror and anxiety immediately lifted. She listened with compassion and great concern, and moved mountains to get me in with Dr. Clark, knowing how desperate my situation was. He fit me in on his lunch break to give me a consultation and spent 90 minutes with me, answering my questions with so much patience, knowledge and empathy. The day of surgery I was surrounded by the most wonderful professionals including nurse Katie and anesthesiologist Michael, who in addition to Dr. Clark, calmed my fears and took incredible care of me. My face was a tough case, but Dr. Clark did an unbelievable job. My procedures were brow lift and fat grafting. They both were done exceptionally well and my results were better than I could have hoped for. I have no wrinkles on my forehead and under my eyes anymore. The fat grafting is smooth, flawless and natural. My face is much better than it was, but it doesn't look like I had 'work done.'
The recovery was a roller coaster as to be expected, and my anxiety was still high because of the trauma of what I had been though. Plastic surgery can be very hard emotionally especially when you've had trauma. I was a highly anxious patient and constantly bombarded Nicole, Nurse Alex and Dr. Clark with questions, and they were always there to walk with me through every step of my recovery. They patiently and compassionately helped and encouraged me the whole way. Very few doctors would let you call after hours and on weekends, but Dr. Clark went above and beyond to help me with my concerns. I'm sure he's missed many lunch breaks to help me through the recovery process or to reassure me when I was worried and stressed. I am looking forward to another fat grafting proceedure with him soon which will completely restore my face from the damage. I am never letting anyone else touch my face, and am so relieved knowing I'm in the best hands. I have never met a doctor who was more caring, skilled, professional and outstanding. I've never encountered a medical staff that was this incredible either, and cannot recommend Changes enough. I will forever be grateful for the day I connected with Nicole and my life was changed. Little by little, my joy, confidence and trust in life is coming back, and that says a lot considering the terrible place I was in. After my face was destroyed I lived in continual trauma and despair. Now I'm starting to heal outwardly and inwardly and feel like myself again, only better.
